KITTINGER COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG CW 23 CHIPPENDALE STYLE MAHOGANY SOFA IN GOOD ESTATE CONDITION. Kittinger Colonial Williamsburg collection Mahogany Chippendale Sofa CW 23 With Chinese fretwork. In the late 18th century Oriental motifs were very popular, the front legs of this Chippendale style sofa reflect that popularity. Featuring hand carved Chinese fretwork designs on the mahogany legs and mahogany stretchers running between the legs, flowing lines in back and arms of the upper sofa. Copied from an English Chippendale George III sofa c. 1770 found in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. The sofa is structurally sound. There are some minor nicks to the frame.

The upholstery has some stains and wear but there are no tears or holes. Measure 35 1/4" high, 73 1/2" wide and 33 deep. The seat height is 20 1/2 high.
