European. 835 Silver Vermeil Necklace, Antique Style, Gemstones

This listing is for a gorgeous antique style European necklace made of Sterling Silver with a gold vermeil finish and embellished with elaborate reticulated embossed work and mounted with pearls, and two cabochon gemstones that appear to be turquoise and lapiz. We guarantee the stones to be of gem quality but are uncertain of the actual stones. The center medallion is mounted with a 5/8 long cabochon stone surrounded with pearls set within a rope bezel. The medallion itself measures 2" wide and 1 1/2" long with a 3/4 long pendant hanging below.

There are a total of seventeen (17) blue gemstones and numerous pearls inserted within the design. This elaborately decorated necklace is marked. 835 on the clasp which indicates a high grade silver base layer with gold vermeil outer layer.

The necklace is made in an antique European style but age and maker are unknown. Necklace measures 17" long with a 2 1/2" drop at center front.

This nice necklace is in excellent Estate condition with the only noted flaw being one tiny pearl missing in the swirl design at top right (facing) on the medallion and there may be a couple of pearls that have been replaced on the surround of the center stone. This is not easily noticed without close inspection. The overall vermeil finish is consistent throughout.
