THIS IS AN ANTIQUE MID 19TH C. FRENCH SEVRES OR SEVRES STYLE MANTLE CLOCK.

BEAUTIFULLY AND PROFESSIONALLY PAINTED WITH WHAT I BELIEVE IS A GILDED BRONZE CASE THOUGH IT COULD BE BRASS BUT. VERY VERY HEAVY SO I THINK IT IS A GILDED BRONZE, JUST MY OPINION.

REALLY PRETTY CLOCK IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE TOP IN THE NEXT TO LAST PICTURE YOU CAN SEE HAS A TINY REPAIR, LOOKS LIKE A SMALL REPAINT. THE TOP IS ALSO A LOOSE AND TURNS AROUND. IT HAS BEEN TICKING AWAY HERE. IT IS MARKED MEDAILLE D ARGENTE MADE IN FRANCE WITH THE NUMBER 411.

THE GONG SOMETIMES WORKS BUT WHILE I HAVE A KEY TO WIND THE CLOCK, THE KEY DOES NOT SEEM TO FIT THE GONG OR CHIME SO I CAN'T WIND IT SO THAT IS AN UNKNOWN. ALSO AFTER IT IS MOVED IT HAS TO BE RESET AND PERFECTLY BALANCED AS THESE OLD CLOCKS ARE A BIT FINNICKY.
