A beautiful solid Sterling silver purse in the style of a handbag, it is a very high quality piece and it is in a remarkable condition for its age and use. I would imagine that it has visited some very grand locations and events in its lifetime. Fully hallmarked Sterling Silver Birmingham 1910. Makers mark of James Deakin and Sons.

The chain and hoop are also Sterling silver, the hoop is hallmarked. It is in a super condition with no damage, repairs or denting.

It has just been professionally polished so it is free from any denting or deep scratching. It shuts securely and flush. The material inside has come apart from the sides in a few places, it is still usable and a skilled hand could make the necessary stitches.
